Firefighters from the Livorno Command, on the night of March 24-25, took part in an emergency simulation in the Rimazzano tunnel in the municipality of Collesalvetti, between the Collesalvetti and Rosignano Marittimo highway toll booths.
The exercise, planned by the Società Autostrada Tirrenica (S.A.T.) and coordinated by the prefecture, involved the participation of the so-called “emergency services,” of which the fire department is obviously a part.

Thus, two fire department teams participated in the training, one from the Livorno headquarters and one from the Cecina detachment, both with the relevant APS (Auto Pompa Tank) vehicle, two units for the use of the special vehicle “Trypper,” three technical officers, and volunteer firefighters from the Collesalvetti detachment. CDV (Video Documentation Center) staff also took part in the event in order to document the exercise for the training activity.
