Firefighters were busy Friday recovering about 50,000 chicks and securing two LPG tanks affected by a landslide at a poultry farm in Bucchio, in the municipality of Santa Sofia. On Wednesday, 115 personnel carried out an inspection to check the condition of the farm sheds and LPG tanks. In the evening, the Venice NBCR nucleus, which specializes in hazardous substances and transfers, secured and cleaned up the two canisters.
